Email from Amex for Cardholders with pretty good J class fare to South America. Flying LAN J Class Book & Pay by 24 Oct 09. Valid for travel to 01 Oct – 20 Dec 09. Includes all taxes. Pretty cheap!

As far as I know all LAN business class fares are eligible for QFF points. Perth to Sydney to Buenos Aires return in J earns 520 status credits and 23415 points.

I thought this related to using MR points to pay for fare, rather than cash. The first line indicates:

Ahhh..... I see your point. Maybe, its not really that clear.

But it doesn't make sense they would limit the offer to certain rewards programs I guess (blanket)
 
Anyone bite on this offer? Or knows what the booking class/routing/stopover/transfer point, etc., restrictions are? Was looking at a cheap economy fare but this is tempting...
