Cheap J flights SIN - BCN with Saudia $2200

If you can save a few thousand and get a decent night's sleep uninterrupted by a foggy head, then it's actually a great way to travel. Celebrate at the pub after you get to your destination.
I hope you enjoy your flight on SV (if indeed you ever do).

Looks like the fares might have jumped significantly? At least on google flights. Now $2850 to MUC.

I tried using the saudis website yesterday but it’s very slow and clunky. And was insistent on pricing in SAR for me!

Fare is still there for October! Even cheaper on the SV website.

Close in the fare has gone (next month or so was available, but now maybe sold out)

Yes, it’s cheap but you need to look at the visa fee (both transit and entry). It could be a bit expensive.

Australians don't need a visa to transit through Saudi Arabia if connecting directly onto another international flight on the same ticket and not leaving the airport, etc. There is a maximum transit time which I think is 12 hours.

The four day ‘ Saudi stopover Visa’ is free but there’s about $A50 in admin and health insurance required.

@WanderingNomad well priced indeed. I spotted this in Jan and booked for late Sept SIN-BCN via JED in J with good transit times, AU$1600 one way. Didn’t know my return plan at the time. Looks decent on 787-9s all the way. Once there’s no flight cancellations or lost luggage, hopefully I’ll be a happy chappy. For 1 day without a few drinks it was worth the low fare, IMO.
