Cheap PAL flights .au to Japan

Hey guys. Not sure how much of a published fare this is, but currently you can get flights on Philippine Airlines from Australia to Japan (e.g. Sydney to Tokyo) in ski season for around $740.

This is a fair bit cheaper than Jetstar/Scoot/JAL/QF for similar times from what I've seen.

Not yet on OzBargain!

Between 26 and 38hr trip SYD-HND? I guess that's part of what makes it cheap.

What's the ground time in MNL?
