Hi everyone

On another social media channel I came across a business called Pointrs.com which is a travel subscription service advertising cheap redemptions to Bali. I visited their website and noted that they were also advertising cheap Business class flights Sydney to Paris return for 170k Qantas points.

This looks too good to be true... you know the rest. I am hesitant to sign up to them in case they are a scam.

I have not seen any advertised specials for this route. Has anyone used this service before and more importantly are the business class seats for 170k real? if so what dates are available?

Thanks Peter

Sounds rubbish to me. $9.99 a month to no doubt find there is no such award available.

The advertisement is misleading. The 170,000 points, although on Qantas metal is paid for with 170,000 points. but those 170,000 points are American Aadvantage points. So you have all the problems of getting those points in an Australian environment which is not easy.

Basically the website identifies the sweet spots for users of a particular program however most of use who collect Qantas and Velocity points will find limited use for the website.
