For the first time since 2018 (and for Mrs FB, 2013), we'll be back in PER for a visit - doesn't time fly........

We will be driving back up from Collie, so thinking dinner/drinks somewhere around 19:30 could be a good option. We're about a 20 minute walk from Burswood Casino et al., but as I've not been there in a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long time, is that still somewhere that would be suitable?

We are open to any other thoughts.

Being a Wednesday night, we should be able to just rock up, but depdending on number we may want to book a table.

I’m in WA then and would love to join in on something. I have a 05.30 flight to KTA the next morning so can’t have too late a night though

For some reason it's not letting me tag anyone ...... but I'll try manually and hopefully it works, paging the locals/regulars (and apologies for anyone I may have missed / don't know / haven't met yet :) )

@casanovawa @cove (and Mrs) @Cynicor @Daver6 @hedge @JohnM @oz_mark
@QF WP - in case you're planning to be in town on business, if not .... then one day you shall meet Mrs FB. One day!

I can make 5th March. I’m in a series of meetings with various Marriott chain reps (Edition, RC, the Luxury collection etc) that day, so will give the goss if allowed.

I just need to check with the Mrs but count me in.

Oh the topic of where- crown is still good for dinner, though heading in with no booking might depend on which restaurant you are considering. Did you have any thoughts?
Rockpool is back in the Amex dining credit but the probably wouldn’t want 10 people all splitting the bill, either 😂

I don't think Crown even existed last time I came through......... so nope, no thoughts/ideas whatsoever :)

Easy:

Buffet- Atrium or Epucurean. Atrium is less high end but still nice. Epicurean is higher end.
Both I find the desserts are the stars, very good when buffet desserts aren’t that great usually. The rest of the food is good too, atrium has the larger Chinese selection.
Probably need to book.

Gastropub style, merrywell. Probably don’t need to book here. “Dude food”

Modo mio- pretty decent Italian. May need to book depending on the time as it’s often busy pre-show; if anything is on.

Nobu- haven’t been in ages. Would be keen to go, fine dining prices. Def need to book,

Rockpool- steak, fine dining prices+ , likely need to book.

Silks- fine dining Cantonese. Haven’t been in a while, usually decent.

Bistro guillaume- French fine dining, decent , prob don’t need to book.

More casual- never been- junction grill and market and co and 88 noodle bar.
