Velocity member that's foreign-based here. I should be able to get enough Status Credits this year for Platinum, but the 8 Eligible Sectors might be a problem. I need 6 more. I do have some short trips to Australia that I can maybe squeeze in.

Anyone have any ideas or tricks on the cheapest routes in Australia for VA sectors, particularly maximizing routing/layovers? I don't need any SC's at all, just need the cheapest flights to meet the 8 flight requirement. Thanks!

Hello Keith!

Perhaps try visiting the Master Run thread http://www.australianfrequentflyer....ity/new-velocity-status-run-master-46199.html. Noted that SC may not be of importance but the thread should have some good pointers that'd potentially set you off to earning the remaining 6 sectors (3 return trips) + SC earns with minimal spend.

Good luck!
