Looking at Adelaide the following week(done the bus into town from airport before...long but cheap trip) before I shoot up to Brisbane for a break....not sure if I will flyby Sydney for IAG AGM though....first world problems

Great work Mattg!

For the 400 bus, I just want to add:
At T3, make sure the bus direction is Bondi Junction because the Burwood direction 400 bus uses the same stop.
The bus turns right from Bourke Rd. into Coward St. I usually push the bell just after the bus turns into Bourke Rd, alight opposite the Holiday Inn then walk the remaining 200m or so to the station.
Nice guide.
The only comment I would make is that the 400 does not actually stop outside Mascot station.
The stop is on Bourke Road between Coward St and O'Riordan (ie directly outside the main Qantas offices), from there it is under 100m walk to Mascot station.

If going to/from International, taking the bus to Banksia or Rockdale (better frequency trains) drops you right outside the station.

Thanks for the feedback guys. :) I have updated the original guide to take this into account:

You might get a strange answer from an AFFer but we are all just in it for the ride so long cuts are quite acceptable and it beats getting lost.

Don't forget our mature AFFers with a seniors or pensioner card can get an Excursion ticket that coves the trains, ferries and buses for all day travel (effectively a return++ for $17 from the airport or $2-50 from Mascot.

Opal hack for you Sydneysiders.

Only works at a few select stations that are close together but on separate lines, so not counted as a transfer. Still doesn't save you much to the airport however
