Hi guys,

Just checked in for a BNE-TSV flight and whilst I'm sitting in the J lounge twiddling my thumbs (and downing a couple of beers) I thought I'd let you know about my check-in experience.
When checking in for my flight I asked about the possibility of a block-out seat next to my exit isle seat. The very friendly CSA happily obliged and I mentioned that I'm as happy with that as using 7500 points for an ODU to J. She then said that in her opinion 7500 points on an ODU was a waste, I'd be much better off saving the points and using them for a JASA. I smiled inside and then she said "you should check out AFF website, they have some great info on JASA legs, status runs and the best points+pay options"

How cool is that! I told her that I am an AFF'er and we both had a chuckle.

Very impressed with the service today!

That's really disappointing (but not unexpected) to hear...

Fortunately, people are only guessing who it might be. For all we know there could be any number of silent QF staff from BNE on AFF.

Could even be a senior staff member that's been flown in from another port to train / assist / manage the BNE team. Could even be a corporate team member doing some front line training. Could be anyone...

Given it could be anyone maybe the mods should just close this thread.... ;)

I have had it first hand that "some" QF people are instructed to familiarise and participate with this site
