I just received this confirmation for a hotel booking for my upcoming trip to Italy.

Does it look ok to you?

Direct or through a booking agent ?

They will debit your card 20 days out, check their honesty then.

How many nights was that for?

Yes that would set me back a a bit

However I was just lodging the card to secure the booking. Lucking the full booking was not deducted ;)

I would be 99.99% sure that it was an automated response generated after the B&B manually inserted the booking incorrectly into their system.

Garbage in, garabage out...as the saying goes.

After checking as requested..I replied and I am now down just for the desired 3 nights.
And yes it was a direct booking.

I would always be wary of Italian Hotels.......just experience.

Written clarification before departure would be the order of the day.

You have obviously stayed at different hotels than me in Italy. I have never had a problem- perhaps you can share your experiences?
