CheckMyTrip vs eTicket from AY - QFF Reward booking

I HAVE SOLVED MY PROBLEM.
I have a similar issue in that CMT shows my whole trip, notifies me of changes/updates, etc, but doesn't show my e-ticket numbers or some of the other details other people seem to be able to see.

Just to check, you added your middle name to a new CMT profile and it worked? As a second name in the First Name field? Or AndrewX (x being middle initial)?

Is everyone convinced CMT always has the most accurate information?

Yes - but you do need to refresh it by entering in the plain CMT web address rather than the refresh button.

Any advice to use airlines' MMB pages should be banned. If there is a problem, it will not be reflected on MMB - this just shows the last correct booking.

On the website, click on the flight number and it takes you through to a new screen that includes flight numbers. If it shows a dash instead of the flight number then the flight has not been ticketed. If you are on the app version, click on Passenger Information under each flight and you will see more data.

Pretty sure we have had this discussion in another thread, but I don't see a 'Passenger Information' option at all under each flight in the app.

And on the website when I click on a flight number it only shows the following info:
Reservation number
Booking reference
xx_ (removed)
More flight details
Aircraft
xx_ (removed)
Baggage allowance
per adult
no baggage
Meals
hot meal
Description
-
Then some blank Qantas contact details at the bottom.

I don't think it isn't ticketed though - it is an OWA and we have had a few involuntary changes, and have received updated e-tickets sent to us after the change.

Edit: had a stab and added my middle name as a second first name to CMT, deleted my trip and then re-added it. It now shows the Passenger Information section in the app, and extended flight details when clicking on a flight in the app.

My itineraries booked with Qantas work as described but I have a redemption through CX Asia Miles which displays only the most basic info. No ticket number although it is ticketed.

That is exactly what mine looked like before I added my middle name. So maybe an issue with an added or missing middle name for the CX booking? But likely ok and ticketed.

Have checked my ticket and it has my first + middle names so maybe this is the issue...although it didn't change anything when I added my middle name to my CMT profile.

ETA: set up an account in my partner's name -- we're booked on the same PNR -- and his has all the details incl ticket number. So def an issue with the discrepancy with my name.

Well I’ll be… Just added my middle name to the First name field of my CMT profile. Deleted an upcoming trip and re-added it and all the extra details are there!

Trying to do the same but cannot find how to delete the trip. Where do I find the "share trip" that lets me delete?
In the app, there’s one of those triple dots “…” that has a delete trip option.

Interestingly, my historical trips also have the extra info now also.

I HAVE SOLVED MY PROBLEM. I think because my check my trip profile wasn't set up to include my initial name and for some reason on all the bookings my first name is Andrew followed by my middle initial (Qantas FF thing I think) when I added the trip, it would not add anything personal including my name/081 number. I deleted that CMT account and then set up a one with the correct name and bingo- all flights added and ticketed. Now to monitor it over the next 6 months for any further flight changes. Thanks everyone!
You’re a genius Andy.
I was In the same (anxious) position.
I had the Text Based e-ticket from Qantas, I could see the ticket numbers on the partner carrier websites, also on the RJ website, but they weren’t showing on CMT.

I have just checked my CMT profile and found that I hadn’t entered my middle name, but my middle name is in my QFF profile, and on my passport.
I added my middle name to my CMT profile. Then deleted the trip & added it back…
and the magic 081 e-ticket numbers appeared.

Thank you Andy, I’ll be able to sleep tonight…

Reading all the above information I am now a little confused.

I have done a redemption using AA points with Qantas. Using the Pnr I can see my booking on Qantas but there is no Eticket.

AA have not sent me an etix. They told me the etix numbers and I have been able to see them on CMT but not on Qantas. The tix does not start with 081 but with 001234.

I really don’t want to call Qff in case I get ‘Joyced’. Up till now I thought as long as I could see it on CMT I would be ok but now I’m not so sure. Do I need to call QF or AA?

If you used AA points, you need to call AA. But Google tells me that AA tickets start with 0012 so that looks right - and if it is showing as ticketed in CMT then I don't see a need to worry.

Thank you so much. I’ve called AA twice and still no etix. I won’t worry about it. Thx for the confirmation, much appreciated

CMT is not necessarily the source of truth for AA bookings with tickets starting with 001.

This is because CMT is the Amadeus GDS and AA use SABRE

Does your booking on AA.COM show "ticketed"?

I've just started using CMT.
I can only see myself as a passenger yet the bookings also has my wife as a 2nd pax.
How can I get CMT to also show the other passenger details?

I don’t have a solution but this issue came up on another thread.

Who are you booked / flying with? If the booking on their website shows both, that’s more important.

3 different booking refs, 1st leg with EK, then QF (reward) but flying BA metal, then BA.
Each leg is a separate booking.
All bookings are in CMT, but none show both pax, just me.
