We will be flying oversreas with our 2.5 year old for the first time (Sydney to Queenstown NZ, via Jetstar). Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere - are we allowed to take a small stroller and child backpack carrier on-board, as part of our carry-on luggage?
Stroller: 87 x 42 x 98, 4.5kg
Backpack: 41 x 32 x 73cm, 1.9kg
If they are allowed, where can we store them exactly? They would be too long to store in the overhead compartments. Would the weights contribute to the 7Kg carry-on luggage allowance?
If they aren't allowed, any recommendations on how to safely put them into check-in luggage without risking damage? Maybe cling wrap to hold things in tact?
Also, are small amounts of play-doh (kids plasticine) allowed on-board? Our little one really enjoys playing with this and would help keep her distracted and mischief free on the flight.
