Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone has had any problems using the APEC card and line on entering China with a non APEC cardholder spouse (who has dual entry visa) in tow?
Going to Guangzhou next week - along with half the world - for the Canton Fair.

Many thanks

Leonie

yes, you can . the Chinese immigration officer is very friendly for APEC card holder , at least in Shanghai Airport

I just thought that I would let you know that I had no problems whatsoever taking my husband with me through the APEC channels in Guangzhou airport, at the Guangzhou East Train station and through at the Hong Kong end of the line.

In fact given the huge queues at immigration in Hong Kong's Hung Hom station an APEC card is a necessity!

I am away at the moment and it took a very polite SIN immigration officer to point out mine expired last week. I didn't notice and neither did immigration in PER (they even asked to see it as I "jumped the cue").
