Have a business associate who has caught Covid in Shanghai area and back in Melbourne his business owner has just gone clear yesterday. He was in Paris and London to get a dose. My next Krug is January so you are ahead of me. Enjoy the ride…..

The Ette and I both dodged Covid entire time in Oz - my first trip back to China late March I brought a case back with me and being the caring sharing type that I am I promptly passed it onto The Ette - she didn’t see the humorous side

Well it is early morning in Perth and we are Krug free as I save it for runs on SQ. Have 3 trips booked for 2024 so I have to be patient.
We have been covid free for about 24 months and it was a mild dose. Mrscove was picked up as positive while visiting her mother in a seniors facility.We shared it for a week.

So I had to train from Shanghai to Hangzhou to visit our #1 manufacturer - our #1 girl there Delores was to meet me as I exited the station - had a hell of a time exactly recognising which amongst the 1,000s was her:

So I checked into my BJ go to RBCH and find out my standard room 1234 is occupied so they put me in next floor down:



First thing I discover is bed so hard as a rock - notes on my profile read ‘Always add soft mattress topper to bed’ - but that got lost in translation so had to call up to get hard topper swapped for soft:

Went to buy a phone cover or 2 at my go to electrical outlet and bought 3 for RMB30ea but I left the fockers sitting on back seat of taxi when I got out at the Pearl Market.



Lucky taxi was booked through DiDi and Concierge was able to call taxi driver and get him to return to hotel - by this time he was way out Woop Woop and it cost almost as much to get them returned as it did to buy them:
