Choose your preferred membership card - there is no choice?

Sorry, original, original post and mine said physical cards weren't an option, so how are others getting a physical card?

Also on the subject of cards, I have to show mine at an EK lounge because the boarding pass does not have my membership number on it. The old paper ones did and even if you ask for a paper one now they still don't have the number.

Anyone else experience that?

They would take the App card. Why do you need a physical one ?
 
My requested Qantas card arrived today.
No mention of green tier not a biggie, no mention of Life time silver membership, which is a disappointment.
I request another card when I reach platinum.

They never do mention anything other then the top tier your sitting at. If LTG, then it’ll be a a LTG card. If WP and LTG, it’ll be a WP card.

GT only features in the app - which kind of makes sense.
 
What happens if you don't have a mobile phone and need a card? I can see myself in the future not needing a mobile phone. I only need a mobile phone for work and can do everything I need on a laptop. My landline will do for phone calls, or a voip service on my laptop.

The ability to request a physical card returned a few weeks ago - see upthread.

The link is in post #7 of this thread several of us have used it recently and subsequently received cards.

Also I would seriously reconsider any decision to get rid of your mobile if you plan to keep on flying QF in retirement; as QF have form in locking website access to QFF accounts without a mobile number on file for 2FA.

My elderly Mum does not have a mobile because she has early dementia. I set up an account for her on a family trip so I could easily buy her tickets, check her in etc and put landline as contact number. When i went to family transfer points ahead of booking next year's family trip I found her account locked and QF would only un block it if I supplied a mobile number. I said she didn't have one and I was told I'd have to add mine or my Dad's or it would remain locked.

So QF have decided they won't allow you to have access to your QFF account online without a mobile on file. I guess they think the percentage of customers without one is minuscule enough they don't care if they go elsewhere.
