Citi Ready Credit - 70k Velocity points with $500 balance transfer

Has anyone who has applied also taken up one of these offers with them before? I got the 150,000 Velocity points last year and wanting to make sure I’m eligible. Terms state:

This offer is available once per customer. If you have previously received or are entitled to receive 70,000 Velocity Frequent Flyer Points with this offer you will not be eligible to receive another 70,000 Velocity Frequent Flyer Points.

To me this is a completely different offer to what I took up last time (150k pts with no discount on the establishment fee) so would assume I’m eligible but would prefer not to have to fight for them.

Did you take up Ready Credit or a personal loan?

Ready credit. Was the 150k velocity point offer in September 2022.

EDIT:

If was the offer here:

Seems this might be a different product? Although it seemed to work the same way.

It is indeed a different product, and it works differently (in that as a personal loan, they advance the whole amount to you, whereas you draw down on Ready Credit as a line of credit).

Applied this morning. Pretty straightforward, went for the minimum credit amount of $5k. Uploaded documents right away. Approved this afternoon. Very easy so far.

Whats on offer this time around and is 5K the minimum that you could opt for ? I am only after the velocity points and looking for as much minimum as possible,

How long before the points are deposited for this one? I did my balance transfer two weeks ago
I set my account up at the end of August 2022, did my balance transfer at the end of September 2022 (due to the original card going AWOL), got the invite to provide my Flybuys number on 31 October 2022 and IIRC, got the points in November.

I got this email.

Spend $300 get $50

Will help me offset the $99 fee charged for setting up my citi ready credit to get the 70k-100k bonus flybuys/velocity

I just spent the $1k on Apple gift cards at woolies. I assume it's considered an eligible spend. Didn't see any exclusions re. gift cards in the T&C

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Terms mention cash advances counting towards the required spend. Anyone know whether simply transferring to my bank account is considered a cash advance or would they be looking for a withdrawal at an atm?

Card arrived 30 October and I immediately transferred $1,000 and paid $900 back right away. Email came yesterday asking for Velocity number. Smooth process so far.

hey folks, first time using this, ive received my debit card, it says to spend $300, so i have to use $300 via the debit card provided?
i cant transfer the $$ online from citi to my personal bank account, (like they did for me when I set it up as part of a balance transfer)

Has anyone who has taken out this Velocity offer also tried to take out the QFF offer for the same product? Can’t see any reason in the terms that would exclude me but wondering whether practically they will approve or not having already recently done this offer and with the facility still open?

70k QFF for $199 fee seems good enough.

Wow.
Applied 21/10
Approved 31/10
Received account details 01/11
Balance transfer of $500 happened on 07/11
I transferred $499 back in on 08/11
Email asking for VFF# 10/11
70K VFF points in my Velocity account 16/11

Will close it tomorrow 17/11
No $99 annual fee yet, but expecting that when I go to close it
