- this offer is much better than the deal on the public website which gives you only 80000 Citi rewards upon meeting minimum spend in first 90 days and then a further 40000 after year 1.

- disclaimer: I get referral bonus of 30000 or more Citi points

- read fine prints carefully before applying. I don’t think I can see exclusions for existing/recent customers. So even if you are an existing customer you may be eligible for bonus points. But best to call Citi to check if in doubt. As a data point, I personally recently applied a second Citibank card and received points without any issues
