I have a RTW booking, which starts with DRW - CNS afternoon flight, overnight stay and CNS - NRT.
I have just been advised QF is dropping the afternoon DRW-CNS flights until June, leaving only the morning flight at 7am. (and a flight via Gove at 6:30am and a Jetstar flight at 5:30).
It really messes up my plans because I was going from work, and I can't leave that early. I could leave the next day and just fly straight through cairns.
I wish I had already paid for the trip, but I haven't. I wouldn't mind flying DRW - BNE - CNS, but it will take me over 26,000Km. I guess if I had already paid they might not have charged me extra because the flight was cancelled.
Is it correct in this situation that because I haven't paid yet (all the seats are / were confirmed) I have no choice but to rebook on available flights?
