Coles gift card offers

For people in the ACT:

Is it an issue if I make multiple payments of 100$ online to pay ACT rates? Will they correctly be processed and agregated?

I was hopping to ask the same question for car rego, but they force the amount to be the full amount (of the period, i.e. yearly selected). I saw there is some payment at the post office option, I never done it, will that allow me to get ride of my vanilla card?

Really? I’ve done split payments at Woolworths for other cards.

But I’ve always found Coles doesn’t allow split payments for gift cards
Yesterday I was not able to purchase a $500 Perfect (eftpos) card using a $250 Vanilla card I'd just bought at Coles. The self serve machine froze up, as did a second, and I was told at the manned checkout that split payments were not possible for "those cards". Whether that was because it's an eftpos card as opposed to other cards you've bought, I don't know. I turned out to be a good thing for me, as I'd completely forgotten about getting points on the first transaction only, in my haste to rinse these cards as quickly as possible. I then just bought the $500 Perfect eftpos cards. Points did not credit automatically.

Later at Coles, I purchased 5 x $250 Vanilla cards plus some groceries using two and bit of the Perfect eftpos cards I'd bought earlier.

Interestingly, there was a guy trying to buy more than 5 Vanilla cards across multiple FB accounts and, despite pointing out the T&Cs, was being told "Nope, 5 cards per person per day". I had that argument and won last week, but I had to smile because I had no problems earlier in the day at a different coles doing precisely the same thing.

hmmm..the NSW offer is not really that good! 5% saving if you buy the $100 GCs....and limited by how many FB accts you have :(

Offers for % off credit cards are now limited to 5 cards per account per day. The bonus flybuys credit card offers are limited to a total of 5 cards per account per promotion.
