Coles gift card offers

Anyone had issues processing multiple cards for ATO payment? I got to card #6 and payment was declined - card is ‘approved’ according to Coles receipt. Security measure from ATO?. Correct card number etc used.
There is a daily limit of cards that can be used.

I processed 10 yesterday and 10 the day before with no issues. Just wishing I had got my hands on more of them! 😭

Me too. Did 10 each day last week. No issue. Got declined one day when I tried an 11th so assumed that it’s 10 per day max.

Really appreciate all the help, I’m new at the Flybuys game as you may have gathered.
Came up with another issue - each set of 5 cards purchased under different Flybuys accounts and paid with different credit cards. Just noticed, with all the kerfuffle around the ‘declinded’ cards when purchasing, that the discount hasn’t been applied to the second purchase of 5 cards (2+3) despite the separate Flybuys number clearly on the receipt. Just wondering whether the fact our accounts are linked could be the problem?

Yes Flybuys 101 is to always read the t&c.

If the cards are linked they are part of the same account. The t&c say limit of 5 GCs per FB account per day. Expensive lesson ($128.50).

The limit is 5 per account, not 5 per card.

Could I assume unlinking the cards would solve this issue for future promos? All part of the learning curve. Will still save some $$ this way and will offset remainder I’ll have to charge to credit card as we go overseas on Monday - not even going to try and pay this from another country 😂😂😂🚩🚩🚩

Is there a card fee for using those cards at the ato?
Yes. 50c for Mastercard. I used $250 card and put the payment amount as $249.50 plus the fee equaled the $250.

It's virtually impossible to unlink the cards. In the end we ended up removing the second email address and getting a completely new card

In a mildly disappointing development my local Coles has put a latch on both sides of the gift card cabinet. It seems to require a tool of some description to open. So there will be no more looking through the stock which hasn't been put on display for the cards you are after. The picture doesn't quite do it justice View attachment 326668

Small Allen key by the looks of it........

The latch lifts up

FYI: Tried to use a Cole/Myer gift card today to pay for Coles Gift Mastercard and the transaction was unable to be process (invalid product mix). This was working for me up until 2 weeks ago.
Same error code for me tonight attempting to buy Bunnings GCs.

However, I was using newly installed machine.

I’ll look for an old machine over the weekend, but we could be nearing the end of inception.
