Coles gift card offers

Same here, especially since my local Coles and WW never have any high value gift cards available when there are offers (when I visit).

Agree -

Wrong thread/airline/company, however - the Woolies cards this last week and finishing today have had great stock for once, and seem to have been restocked during the past few days!

I've maxed out 20K QFF daily (4 EDR accounts) with a final trip today, only 1 staff member who refused to sell me 2 cards in one transaction as she said the limit for gift cards is $1,000. So I just did 2 separate transactions...

140K QFF for $445.20..

$28000 in gift cards! What's your address?
Nice little earn there. Given the choice (which is never given) I'd rather the 10% deal instead to save $2094.40.

Ha, most of the cards spent already :D

Oh for sure, I'd rather save the $$ now than bank points that may not get used for many years.. But sadly it's just points now with the 10% off going :(

I tried to use the remaining $4.05 credit of a Coles Mastercard today online to part-pay a Red Energy bill. It was refused with reason: "don't honour." Has anyone else had an issue like this where the small remainder of a card is blocked from usage?

I've actually found with some online payments I need to enter "FOR YOU" or "GIFT FOR YOU" are the name on the card. For some payments it seems to be the difference between success and rejection.

Thanks for the tip, if I have trouble again I'll definitely remember this.

In this instance though, I was able to successfully pay with a new $100 Coles Mastercard so the name is not the issue. (And I had checked the funds online prior to paying so that also wasn't the issue.)

Ive had a mastercard gift card rejected when trying to pay both my Leaptel and my Origin bill. Origin bill doesnt even ask for a name. Are there any other things to try?

How about via PayPal?
Not offered as an option to use Paypal for either of them. I did try adding the card into google wallet since Origin offered GooglePay, no joy there either. Card is definitely working when swiped, and i checked balance online to be sure there was still the expected balance on the card :(

Some sites have minimum spend and that could be problem

Almost certainly due to a minimum spend requirement then. HBF brought in a $10 minimum for online payments not long ago.

I’ve had this with Red Energy on these cards.

Its a hard block by Red Energy.

Even a full $100 will be rejected.
