does this card still have price/shopper protection for 24 months? I can't find the info from the coles site.
This makes it better than the 28 degrees card. Just want to make sure it has price protection
[h=3]No international transaction fees on purchases[/h]That’s right! No transaction fees on international purchases made with your Coles Rewards MasterCard. That makes the Coles Rewards MasterCard perfect for everyone who likes to shop online, and also a great way to save on fees while travelling overseas.

foggy, did you find anything out about the int transaction fees?

nope sorry, i was hoping someone would tell me if it still had price protection.

While it seems as though there is no international transaction fee, they may still make a money by giving you a bad conversion rate.

If you do call and ask please do let me know if they still have price protection

Without knowing the details, I don't think you should take anything for granted with cards. It's best in my experience to send an email from your cc account and get answers in writing.

EDIT:

A big negative is that this card, like the 28D cannot accept emails.

So, as far as I'm concerned, roll on the sign on points and then the axe.

Yeah, I've got a leisure trip to the states in June actually... hmm.

So I take it the bank fees vs the points earned make it better to use a no fee card?

I have just received my 20,000 points after the first spend on 30 March. Now I have enough for a 'local' 'EY flight.

I have been advised that I cannot get out of paying the $89 pa fee due in Oct. They are adamant that there are no incentives to keep it except to go back to the free card of 1FB per $2 spend.

On the $89 card it pays 2FB per $1. No point in keeping the freebie except that there's no forex, not sure of the xe rate though.
