Does anyone use Coles Plus? Costs $19 per month and you get free online order delivery, double Flybuys points and "member exclusive offers" at Coles.

Until 16 July 2024, Coles is also giving 3,000 bonus flybuys points and a $25 shopping discount to new members.

There's also a $7/month "Coles Plus Saver" membership that gets you 10% off one shop each month (up to $50) and double Flybuys points.

The second one is new to me.
Can you belong to both?
I've definitely tended to WW since their extra program with 10% which I get amazing value from. Pretty sure I could still get value from the Coles one too

I’ll certainly look at this, but my wife (we are in our 70s) thinks home delivery is one step closer to the grave, and she might have a point. But the double flybuy points are attractive.

Coles plus saver seems new. They must've finally realised why EDR Xtra was seemingly very valuable to a lot of people and how thr 10% discount loss leader was often what pushed it.

Might need to look more into it now. Could shift my balance a bit once I hit yearly PC (and decide if I want PCP).

Coles Plus is not great value-for-mooney in my opinion.

Coles Plus Saver is another story. I was given a few months free as an introductory offer for (then) Coles Mastercard holders. When the free trial ends, I intend to keep it.

Coles Plus Saver was rolled out as a 'trial' in Victoria back April or so. The trial also extended to Tasmania.

and amongst the benefits is 5x FB pts at Coles
I didn't think Onepass had bonus points for Coles? It's 5x points on several other Flybuys-earning stores though (Kmart, Target, Bunnings, Officeworks).

Actually signed up for the free trial as it coincidentally seems like it fell exactly at the right time to get 4 weeks worth of flybuys bonus then cancel it. Otherwise wouldn't bother personally as Coles is just down the road from my place.

it's still a worse proposition than the EDR equivalent for me. First, because the EDR xtra option offers a 12-monthly price of $70 and secondly because of the bug that I don't think EDR will ever fix which essentially allows the discount to be used twice per month.

Coles Plus 19$/mth= roughly 4.40$/wk
NOT having to drive, find parking, listen to screaming kids, encounter annoying people, walk through noisy shopping centers, now even unsafe for my age
Doing shopping at my own time, sitting in a comfortable chair with snacks around, listening to nice music, in my own peaceful world, being able to change my mind anytime, add on items when I need, having someone doing my "work" for me at the other end
WORTH any second of my life, for my safety(crazy drivers), health(stress), time(to enjoy better things), finance(no impulse buying, car expense, special discounts)

How do you get it twice?

I am considering Coles Plus Saver as we are avid Flybuys points collectors.

I've never heard of Coles Plus. Just checked my Coles account and its there. I'm not interested in free delivery because I don't want anyone else picking out my fruit and vegetables. Plus we are in walking distance of a new Coles supermarket.

Woolworths lost my business when they decided to stop selling Australia Day merchandise.

Woolworths has back tracked on the selling of Australian merchandise

Coles plus saver seems to be live for the nation now? Or has it been for a while. Last I checked it was just on trial in VIC and TAS.

In any case, I have signed up! I'm more of a Coles shopper so should get more benefit out of it. Everyday extra feels like a little better value still but hopefully Coles has some good freebies and offers too.

I'm going to try the Coles Plus first month free deal (in my flybuys app) and make good use of the 10x points on online liquor 😁
Stock up the cellar.
Will give me something to do whilst recovering from surgery and can get groceries delivered too.

Better go follow the wine threads for recommendations...

Does anyone know how the 10% Coles Plus Saver discount interacts with a "Spend $X, get Y bonus Flybuys Points" promotion? I'm in the 4th week of a "Spend $90 per week for 4 weeks for 10k Flybuys points" promotion, and I'm assuming I'd need a pre-discount spend of $100 to make sure that I've actually "Spent $90"?
