Hi guys,

Any comments on the following flights/seat selections?
Any better options from anyone's experience? (within the same class, obviously :))

I have shown the QF 744 seatguru variants based on what the seat map looks like in seat selection on the Qantas website - I think they're correct?

Don't suppose anyone would know which side of the plane would be best to sit on for these flights re: the sun?

I'm particularly interested in any thoughts on the Y class seats on the two 744s.
I've chosen double seats down the back, so the Mrs and I don't have to sit next to anyone. Are they good seats?

Cheers, and thanks!
Mat.

No thoughts?

Has anyone sat down the back in Y on a 744, where three seats become two?

Cheers!

MatF,

I cannot answer your questions other than I have sat on a 743 where three seats become two and the window seat of that row has a lot of extra leg room.

They all look like good seats to me, though I'm not a fan of being in the back of the plane in economy.
However you do get the advantage of some extra space.

Yep, I quite liked it. I was against the window and was able to use the extra room on the floor for hand luggage and I enjoyed the extra shoulder room with the extra space between me and the window.

If you like to sleep against the window, I would suggest that you aren't going to like the seats as your back would have to twist a fair way to get your head & pillow against the window.

IMHO, a positive experience!
