The guide is out of date though, because the Gold Awards card no longer exists and the Ultimate Awards card is not listed.
Agree.
They were provided by @Scr77 in this thread (although may have changed since that date):
New range of Commonwealth bank credit cards with bonus points
Seems like a long time between drinks with Commonwealth bank credit card offerings, but I've noticed the following new offers: 1) Platinum Awards credit card – Earn 100,000 Bonus CommBank Points when you apply for a new CommBank Platinum Awards credit card by 31 July and spend $4,000 on...www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au
I got similar problem as mentioned in the thread above. Applied for the Ultimate Awards and chose $5000 as the CL during application. There was no warning or pop-up or anything during the application that it is for the Standard Awards card, all the emails and text from CBA were clearly mentioned I applied for and approved for a Ultimate Awards card... until I received a standard awards card in the mail.
Called Commbank, got someone to lodge my feedback and promised to call back after talking with a supervisor... they called me back and explained because I chose the $5,000 limit it was automatically downgraded to the Standard. Explained to them that it was not my intention and if the do that the need to have my consent or at least need to inform me during the application. After all can CBA automatically give a person a different home loan product (inferior one) than the home loan the person applied for, without even asking.
I lodged an official complaint to CBA about this. In fact looking at their website right now there is no mentioning about the minimum limit for the Ultimate card before one click “Apply now”, the minimum limit is only shown for the Standard, Platinum and Diamond awards cards but not for the Ultimate card. I am planning to send them all the screen shots as well as their emails in which they approved me for the Ultimate card to prove my case.
So what is the minimum limit for the Ultimate card?

Anyone across how long after doing the minimum spend the points are awarded?
I think the Ultimate card isn't part of the Wealth package benefits so there will still be a monthly fee sadly.Did anyone receive the bonus points under this offer. I am still contemplating if I have to apply for this card since I already have the mortgage with Commbank. Will they offer free card and not charge any annual fee if you have prior relationship with the bank.
Trying to apply for this card via netbank. I get to the 'Review application' stage and click 'I agree' but then the application goes back to the input your details sections. Can't move forward with the application process.
Anyone else experience this and know what the issue is?
There's 4 stages. I can't get to stage 3. Stage 4 is the documentation stage. It's a glitch. On the final application screen there was some vague reference to this in the fine print. You don't need to do anything. It will just sit like that until they review your uploaded docs then it will drop off and you'll get the approved and later card despatched emails.
Took about 5 working days for me from application and document upload until approval.

Right on the day you met the spend (and the transaction as no longer 'pending')Anyone across how long after doing the minimum spend the points are awarded?
