Complimentary Passes for Melb in October 2018

HI All

I have some complimentary passes for Qantas club lounge. I wanted to use them for my Melb-Syd flight I have in early October, So I logon to the Qantas web site, and tried to assign them to my flight. However after I clicked on link to flight, it went to the return flight from Sydney.

My thoughts were because my flight was at 9:30am on a Friday, that the restrictions for the renovation were in force, however when I looked up when they were meant to be completed, all I could find was "mid 2018"

Can anyone confirm that I can't use then because of the renovations, and what is the ETA on there completion..

Ah, so it is the end of November. Oh well, have to book another flight somewhere to use my passes, Yes, a big first world problem...
