complimentary qc pass

The passes I have are only valid in Qantas operated lounges (not OneWorld or partner lounges) but only the most recent ones explicitly state that you have to be flying Qantas or Jetstar that day.

I am unlikely to push the point, but the slightly older pass (expires October) makes no mention of metal or even flying - it seems to be an open invitation to sample the QC whenever you like.

Of course the door dragons may take a different view ....

I will check mine out when i get home in a couple of weeks (Issued mid last year), i want to give to my GF to use when she flies out of HK on CX next month, given she hardly ever flies with me to know what a QP even looks like.

Problem is it could be like J class, she may just get a liking for it and then you know what will always be expected.
