FRA-KUL and vice versa since Nov 2018.

Three times a week in a 767-300.

Cheap way to Europe if combined with MH or D7.

Of note Condor is part of Thomas Cook Group and it's using an aged 767.

Business is 2-2-2 angled

Other LCC alternatives to Europe include Scoot SIN-ATH, SIN-BER, or Norwegian SIN-LGW, BKK-OSL, BKK-CPH and BKK-ARN.

Sometimes full-fare carriers can be cheap from SE Asia, like Qatar or other Middle Eastern airlines.

Anyone on here taken advantage of this fare and can report back on Condor? Something tells me don't expect too much, not sure why.

It's an angled lie flat for $2600. You can get full flat on other carriers for well under that. Not sure of the advantage?

Advantage being it is available on one ticket ex Aus via KUL, although only Y on the MH sectors.
Apart from that I can't think of anything else.

I think the connection on either MH or D7 would rule it out for many... and jumping from economy to angled is not ideal if wanting to cath up on sleep :(

What's the fare once combining with MH or D7? The 2600 was ex KUL only? Would have to be at least $3100. For that price I'd be looking at a combo of China Airlines one way premium eco and return in full business for $3300 (exAu). All on one ticket and premium the whole way.

$2907 ex MEL.
Yes I agree with your thoughts RE China Airlines, the new A350 looks great both PE and J. Problem is the long layovers around 18h each way, compared with 3-5 in KUL.

Is there any information people have about the Condor soft product?

CI can have fares around $4200 return in J all the way ex Australia. Yes there are decent length layovers but from everything I’ve heard about Condor I know which one I’m choosing

Plenty of trip reports out there, here's another one in addition to the one already posted above by moa.

Trip report: Condor Boeing 767 Business Class from Frankfurt to Zanzibar

For me the connection on MH makes it a no-go from the start. D7 not much better. But unless you can actually sleep well on angled lie-flats (there are a couple people who can! :)) it's pretty much same same as going premium economy.

There are 18 hour layovers in TPE for CI, but they provide a hotel. I think some connections out of SYD and BNE cut the layovers to just four hours.
