New to me. Got this TXT today:

Hi Holiday Inn Brisbane confirming your reservation for 06 May 2011. To confirm please text: Yes; to cancel text:CXL; to change please call 07-3238222. Thank You

Just like my dentist and doctor appointments!

I think I've had a txt from them like that.

Hotel is either overbooked or very close to overbooked, and they want some better indication of who is going to show and who will cancel.

I get a similar text eveytime, including last Sunday. I hate the way they lock the reservation from view on Priorityclub.com as well, luckily through the mobile site I can still/cancel it.

I got one of those text messages today, so I went to cancel the booking online.

As the booking was made with points + the purchase of 10,000 points I can't seem to cancel the reservation.

Reservation can be cancelled up to 6:00pm the night of the reservation but I can't seem to cancel it.

I might have to ring the nationwide number as I want my points back.

Unless am I reading something wrong.

I recently cancelled a points + 10,000 points purchase and the points were returned to my account pretty much immediately. The return transaction appeared in "manage my account", under Hotel Redemptions. It was all done online.

I cancelled through the manage my account page.
