Today I was booked on QF11 but due to an aircraft change and the loss of F Class, I am now going tomorrow. As such I had to cancel a separately booked AA flight - as changing it to a day later would have started a domino effect with other flights. The ticket was booked as a non-refundable First Class ticket (Booking Code 3) and the (Australian) Call centre has told me three different things:
(a) The fare cost can be used towards any other US domestic booking (like Qantas)
(b) The fare cost can be used for any other bookings with the same departure point (LAX)
(c) The fare cost can only be used for credit to a booking on the exact same flights.
Anyone know which (if any) of these is correct?
