Aside from the dates posted in the images on page 1 of this thread, has anyone been able to find anything else?
I'm looking for July -> October, but nothing else is coming up for that 'cost'.

Yes. It should work for any date that there is award availability on the direct BNE-NRT flight.

Took a while for this deal to reach OzBargain but it finally made it.

Yes, but is anyone going to pay 468,700 points one way Sydney to Narita?

Or is this normal when you go to 'view in points' rather than classic reward. I am happy to be called out on this, I was just shocked to see such high numbers.

Yes that is normal for view in points. You shouldn't be doing that as you need a classic award

Can anyone find flights at these points levels or have QF reverted back to their overinflated points levels?

Just booked BNE-NRT this morning. Huge thanks to OP and Boomy for the heads up. Couldn't be happier!

I've tried many dates, but can't get on QF61/62 in J? What dates did you book Aeolus?

I was looking mostly September or October.

Certainly still working as of now. I already had three trips to Japan planned through next February, but that has now increased to five.

FWIW this also works for economy. 24,000 points + $323 return, and plenty of dates available.

Early Sep. Only 1 or 2 in late Oct but plenty for Y. Very tempted to slum it in Y with this attractive redemption.

Yep, tried heaps of dates, (Qantas site kicked me out a few times. Thought I was a bot?) Can get a few BRI-NRT on various dates, but can't find any NRT-BRI in J. I might do what your thinking and slum it. Worth it I think. Thanks Aeolus

Wow!, spoke too soon. a couple more searches and bing! Got it! A couple of weeks later than I hoped for, but my +1 is more than happy about the changes in dates.

Thanks to the OP .

edit: $292 in taxes. And there is lots of availability in Y. In J...its very limited,

14th Sept BNE-NRT, 1 seat avail.

Oh! I did a heap of searches, there was some availability BNE-NRT. Trying to remember the dates, fairly sure of Sept 6th and Sept 8th and possibly Sept 12 or 13? This is for J, but please don't quote me, mind is frazzled after 300+ searches.

Whereas NRT-BRI was almost impossible in J for Sept/Oct. I finally found 1 as I was nearing the end of my tether. Good Luck!

P.S.- there is plenty Y availability for those interested and its still a good deal in Y
