Confused re 'My Account' QFF

Ok, maybe I'm a bit slow here, but do I need to earn any more points before Feb 2013 to retain WP?
What am I missing? Shouldn't I have to earn the requisite number of retain SC's in 2012?

Status reassessment will occur:31 Jan 2013
Status credits earned from 01 Feb 2011:1,410
Additional Status credits required by 31 Jan 2012 to receive
additional Platinum privileges 990

If you earn more SCs before 31/1/2012 you can aim for further Platinum benefits, which would also be through to 31/1/2013.
After 1/2/2012 any SCs you earn will go towards retaining Platinum through to 31/1/2014.

You've earnt > 1200 SC right now, so you have qualified for WP until 2013.

You still need 1200 SC next year to ensure retention of WP from 31 Jan 2013-2014.

No you have re-qualified for WP. The additional status of 990 is to the next level so you can maybe get your partner a gold membership, or you more frequent flyer points if you want there are a couple of choices.

I'll take another punt.

I suggest you have earned 1410 SC's since Jan 31st 2011 and have just qualified or re-qualified WP.

As a result your qualification period is valid until Jan 31, 2013.

Any SC you earn in Dec 2011 and Jan 2012 will not go towards re-qualification for the year ending 31st January 2014.

No you are not special. This is relatively normal. They have done your reassessment early and your valid date is now in 2013. If you wish to requalify after that date you need to earn more SC in 2012.

..or they've just done a pass on reassessments for Jan 31 folk, which would be quite normal to happen early December.
