Confusion at LAX

I'm glad I read this thread.
I arrive at LAX on QF93 at 6.35am and then have an AA flight 6005 to Denver at 9.40am.
I thought I was leaving heaps of time, but it seems like I might be struggling?

You should be Ok as QF93 arrived on schedule

Best is to re-enter security upstairs at TBIT and then go to T6 via the new airside link. You can also use T4 because from both you will need to catch the shuttle bus to the remote AAEagle terminal at gate 44

BTW:DDid you hear the Captains proposal inflight? The big question is whether she said yes over the PA?. Post your answer here:http://www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/community/qantas-frequent-flyer-program/captain-on-qf93-proposes-79107.html

I don't travel until February but it would have been awesome to hear that.

Oh ok so you havent travelled yet. In that case you will be ok so long as QF93 is not delayed.
I have a similar flight MEL-LAX-DEN

QF93 but my LAX-DEN is AA6006 at 1255.

Where are you skiing?

No skiing. Heading to Alaska but decided to spend a couple of days in Denver first before meeting my sister in Seattle.

No.

As soon as you enter the arrivals hall landside at TBIT, turn right head down and use the recently opened transit security - generally much faster than going upstairs.
I'd use the recently opened TBIT arrivals security. It's generally rather quiet.

It's off the lower road, so I suggest checkin in at T4, walk around to TBIT, head down the stairs/escalator, enter TBIT arrivals hall then turn left.

It's down at the end, more here:

The "Eagle's Nest" remote gates are no longer considered part of T4 (44A-H), they are now 60A-H. While there are still shuttles to the remote terminal from T4, the shuttles from T6 are more frequent. It may be quicker to use the tunnels from T4 to T6, then get the shuttle.

There is also currently ramp work going on between T4 and T5 with two T4 gates (currently 40 and 42A) requiring shuttle rides out to the 20x remote gates.

When I was checking in for my LAX-DCA flight at T4 yesterday (after having some 'fun' getting there from the LAX Hilton... fire alarm at 5am, shuttle bus caught fire in the hotel driveway. After being told to stay in rooms and no answers from hotel staff, I ended up checking out via the TV system, taking my bags down 13 floors in the fire exit then walking over to get a ride on the Marriott shuttle), a pax from one of the QF flights cut in front of me when I was at the counter asking about lounge access and where said lounge was. I ended up having to deal with him because he didn't understand what the agent was saying. Also had to help someone from the remote eagle terminal on sunday trying to meet their friend coming off a DL flight 2 hours later. Neither the pax nor the contract agent at the bus line understood what the other was asking.
