Hi,
A question that hopefully some experienced flyers may have some feedback on.
I am flying QF LHR-MEL in January in F. I need to fly though from DUB-LHR to connect to this flight.
If I book BA DUB-LHR am i
a) able to tag my bags all the way through to MEL (this would be great as I would not have to worry about collecting bags and checking them in etc and could spend more time chilling out in the first lounges) It would not be on the same booking however so how would I go about this. Is simply BA and QF being in a alliance enough or do I need to contact a call centre to help this or to help with this.
b) As I am flying first with Qantas would the one world benefits apply here for lounge access in Dublin as I am connecting to a First long Haul flight. Again this would be a separate booking so not sure if this is applicable.
"Customers flying in Economy class on the domestic or intra-European segment to connect to or from a oneworld longhaul First or Business Class flight can also use the lounge applicable to the class in which they are travelling on the longhaul segment"
Have no experience with this before so any help on the matter would be great thanks.
