I've booked and paid for on QF website QF1 SYD - LHR & LHR - SYD return on QF32. I want to blow a bunch of points trying for an upgrade to J.

instead of the usual apply for upgrade link in my booking I have a message 'Contact your travel advisor' and it won't let me apply. What's this about? anyway to get rid of it so I can apply?

also, how long at the stopovers in Bangkok on the outbound leg and Singapore on the inbound leg?

Your booking has not been ticketed yet, ring QF and explain you wish to join the queue ASAP and sometimes they can prod it!

I think they are fairly similar - I have had time for a couple of champers in the SIN F lounge and similar in the BKK F lounge. Depends on how close to the front of the bus you are, which gate you are at and how quickly you walk.

I think there is a glitch somewhere on the website. This has been a common problem for me over the last 12 months. I have three bookings in the system where this is happening - all of them ticketed. If you ring up they'll sort it out for you.
