Contacting HHonors from Australia

I am trying to make a booking using a 'free night' certificate.

There used to be a 'phone number that would transfer to HHonors in the USA, I used it as recently as last year. However, this does not appear to be on the web site any more.

There was also a "Puch to Talk" facility on the site where you could advise a telephone number in Austrlaia and you would be called immediately.

Now, the only options are Canada and the USA.

Does any remember the number that was used?

I've only used the reservations number and that used to take me off to the US.

I used 1300 44 58 66 last week to use a reward certificate. Spoke to the US desk.

To use my free night certificate I rang the Aus no. 1800 446 667 after hours and it was answered in the US.

It still shows.....1-800-446-6677

Very top right above the "Welcome Back".

It works for me, straight through to HHonors. The other number without the last digit 7, goes to a common switch for resevations and HHonors.

It's certainly not here (other than an SG number encompassing Asia Pacific):

Whatever you do, don't use the Asia Pacific number. Seems to go to China (well it does here from SIN), which would probably be well down the list of where I would locate a call centre, at least for English speakers. On the other hand, their response to emails was efficient and much better, which I guess reflects a much higher level of proficiency with written english compared to spoken Australian English .....

FWIW, I was wanting to make a booking using a Q4 certificate - mission accomplished ... thank you to all.

(Used the 1300 445 866 number ~9:45am - went through to the States; at the end of the call I was bid adieu with a 'good evening')

Sorry, not a freecall, but it does take you straight through to the Diamond Desk (need to key in your account number to do so).

I have been a Hiliton Hhonors member since 2000 and I have found them to be increasingly difficult to deal with. I was both Gold and Diamond up until last year and have just stopped using Hilton alltogether. Alot better satisfaction with Intercontinental and HI. Especially here in Aust as alot more properties in more convienient situations
