On Friday last I noticed these contrails, something I've only seen once before here. My penthouse faces South, and I live 1km from Port Beach in North Fremantle, so these were headed for Bunbury on the course they were flying. The one on the left was slightly ahead the one on the right as it had disbursed more than the other. I assumed that they may have been the flights to South Africa, but two flights that close together seems odd. Can anyone throw any light on the matter?

I think there has been some air training drills.
Heard a couple of loud aircraft over the last few days

Saw two as well on Friday while driving SOR. In canning Vale area they turned to go due east. Early afternoon, figured probably ex dxb or doh but didn't look it up

Install The Flightradar24 app on your phone. It will allow you to identify an aircraft straight away.

MrsDaver6 mentioned to me at lunch today that she has seen a few recently too. I assumed it was flights to/from Busselton and mine sites but perhaps not?

That is an interesting thought that makes sense. Periodically, over the last year or more when I've been at the beach I've seen high-altitude contrails in the E sky heading in a NE-SW direction and puzzled over them.

I have FR24 on my phone, but I don't carry my reading spectacles with me at the beach, so I haven't bothered to look at it.

That's more likely to be a U2 spy aircraft checking you at at the beach :p

The aircraft need to be 25000’ or more to leave contrails. On Friday there were a number of Parks and fire fighting Caulsens aircraft but they were all low level.

This is why @Daver6's notion that it could be Pilbara-Busselton flights makes sense (schematic only):

Contrails are so rare over Perth that any that do occur draw attention.

To/from Busselton it may be. There are a couple scheduled for next week.

I don’t know what altitude they’re at as they transit over Perth, but would need to be high enough to get into contrail forming conditions. (and vice versa with descent)

There were two A380s crossing the coast, QR followed by EK ten minutes later. Nothing north south.

Paging our UFO-followers.
I think you're missing the obvious ... Franky saw what he thought were contrails, then afterwards he was unsure about what had caused them, he didn't recall finding them on FR24/etc ... these were chemtrails and they erased his memory of finding out what super secret aircraft they were being emitted by!!
