We all start our "travel journeys" somewhere @drron !
Considering the cost of air travel and accommodation 60+ years ago, feel very grateful to my parents for giving us these opportunities.

We went on driving holidays after Christmas. First few years was South West Rocks in northern NSW. In 1962/63 went to Noosa.It was the time that my father passed up an investment. There were 2 shops side by side on Hastings street selling for 25000 pounds. He nearly bought them but as he had 5 children and 3 already teenagers he decided not to. Wasn't that long before Noosa really took off.

And yes my next trip starts this coming Friday.
