Looks like a fun night.

Greetings from Queenstown. I had lunch with samh004 senior at Amisfield yesterday - sensational!

Looks like a fun night.
I am tipping 1 attendee may not today be thinking last night was a 'fun night'.

As for the Coonawarra Roadshow it was a bit of a let down - the location in Docklands was totally 'soulless' compared to our last attendance at Melbourne Town Hall - maybe that was to be expected.

We did sample ALL the premium offerings from ALL wineries on offer - standouts were all the usual suspects Balnaves Tally, 2015 Brand & Sons Icon Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, 2014 Katnook Odyssey Cabernet Sauvignon and 2014 Katnook Prodigy Shiraz, 2009 First Growth and 2014 First Growth, 2008 Redman The Redman - I think that is about it.

The big surprise was the 2008 The Redman- delicious - on sale at show for $70/bott I called winery today and negotiated $60ea for 6 with free delivery.

Would not rush back next year if it is held here again - the Ette says she def will just meet us at OT afterwards.
