Agree re the food offerings - that is really where they have skimped. And also, no more freebies - no more rubik cubes, - they used to deliver a new gift each morning. Plus eye gel masks etc.

Arrived at the Cordis Hotel at 7pm, the service from curb-side to club check in at Club floor on level 36 could not fault it, while the ever efficient staff processed our checkin at the side office as they checked other customers - we had the included drink or three from the excellent selection in the club lounge bar.

Then to our room on level 33 and our luggage was there waiting, the room is simply sensational and huge by HK standards 29sm, has a firm and very comfy king bed, big marble bathroom, huge rain shower with extras side adjustable wall head, large separate bath, a bedroom picture window view from floor to ceiling, even a mobile phone with free calls to international as well, bottles of water and coffee making facilities and even a built in panel to plug in just about any device to the large wall mounted TV, also a hotel welcome message on the digital in house phone window. Bottled water provided as was an international power adapter for portable devices.

Now back to the club lounge, enough seating including a computer bench great views, a stool table and couple L shaped lounges and bar didn't close until midnight or so. The food selection consisted of just a mere 3 dishes each night, no boiled rice to be seen, they also had salads but forget finding sliced tomatoes or cucumber, nothing to write home about, there was also selection of cakes cut into miniature pieces. Around 8pm they brought out some deserts yet once again not mouthwatering.

While the basic breakfast was available at the Club inc chef for eggs and the like, guests said go to main dining room The Place on ground floor, we did just that and it was sensational!, every dish you can imagine, chef at the ready plus coffee came from the separate baristas in a minute, all the staff throughout the Cordis were fast and friendly - simply top notch, as good as.

Checkout wa seamless and efficient and outside we were gone in 60 seconds, can highly recommend this hotel for quality, service and location to MTR.

Your experience seems to mirror that of our own back in Nov 2014 when it was still Langham Place.

Being able to choose where to have breakfast (lounge or vastly superior restaurant downstairs) was a huge plus for booking a Club room. IME, this feature is not common across the Langham portfolio. We have stayed at the Langham London, Sydney (no club lounge), Melbourne and Auckland and LP Hong Kong. It looks like we will be lining up the Langham Hong Kong (TST) for a trip later this year so I will be interested to see if they offer a choice of location for breakfast.

Also their Club bar was open all day for free booze not like many others who serve and charge after 8.30pm, one night a bunch of us had a big session we left at midnight they kicked on to 1am.

While the breakfast was fine the evening meal was not supposed to be dinner just a snack, reason only 3 dishes plus salad & sweets served, but at $335 a night what we paid taking into consideration location, service, room size, club floor, food and drinks was a bargain, HK Hotels change AUD$35 for breakfast PP these days.
