I don't think we will get an extra holiday in the UK, its a Saturday and the Monday before (1st May) is already a holiday. The 29th May is a holiday also so. If they give us an extra holiday on the 8th that would mean three 4 day weeks in one month.

It will be a big event but I don't think it will be on anywhere near the scale of the Queens Coronation.
