I think that if you really want to travel to the UK in J have you considered via New Zealand
I know that you have to backtrack and fly across the ditch but the fares are substantially cheaper if you are paying...

AKL - HKG - FRA - HKG - AKL (I excluded LHR because that's an extra 500 NZD which I assume it various taxes) is 6489 NZD/5721 AUD return.....
MH has similar deals ex-AKL for early bird fares

Cash + miles is not eligible for enrich points. Question is whether MH flag it as non earning for OW partners as well despite D being standard earning class.

Just make sure they don't put you on the NZ codeshare if crediting to QF.
