Costco & AMEX: ? Supermarket for points

Does anyone know if AMEX treats Costco as a 'supermarket' or not ?

I don't believe so as its Not listed as one of their eligible retailers.

Given that Costco isn't on the Amex list of major supermarkets I think we can take it that Asterix's normal points are 1 point per dollar.

Yes, on the Platinum Edge we've been getting 1 point per dollar at Costco.
