South Korea suspends visas for Japanese in tit-for-tat coronavirus curbs
South Korea has retaliated against Japan’s “irrational and excessive” request for Korean visitors to voluntarily self-quarantine upon arrival as measures to contain the novel coronavirus epidemic threatened to exacerbate bilateral tensions. South Korea plans to raise its travel advisory for Japan to Level 2.
Maybe it is all about trying to not totally kill off the idea of the Olympics. Taiwan seems to have been an important route in through Australia for Covid as wellJapan has only just imposed quarantine restrictions on arrivals from China,HKG,Macao and South Korea. But not from Italy or Iran.Amazing.

Seems very harsh. I don’t subscribe to the greed of the “Japanese” concept. There are hundreds of athletes who have spent years in preparation for the Olympics. I’m sure the Olympic committee will make a sane and rational decision.I see you and raise you via the greed of the JAPANESE, they appear to be hell bent on hosting the Olympics, no matter what the consequences.
Along with the Japanese, the VIC Gov should hang their heads very low.
Personally I think that while the Olympic Committee should definitely be monitoring the situation it's way too premature to be actually making any decisions about it.Seems very harsh.
