Creating THE SQ Waitlist sticky

Ghosty I receive both SMS and email confirmation - and YES that is the best number to call KF - YES sometimes quite difficult to understand the reps - just be patient and they will help you out.

I will be calling them tomorrow to see if they can get n R or an F waitlist confirmed for me ex PVG - I have R confirmed but 1 day later suits me better - sometimes they can get confirmation for you if you call and other times no they can't and it becomes a waiting game.

great, thanks for the confirmation on the SMS/email confirmation :)

Guess I'll have to keep calling to get someone I can understand. I've never had this much trouble before with understanding call centre workers since about 10 years ago when I was in UK and got put through to a welsh call centre. Needed to ask them to email me the information because I barely understood a word they said.

What's a R booking? I know J is business and F is first...I think. What's R?

Ah...R is the holy grail for me now then :)

Starting with 2 confirmed J Standard reward tickets for JFK-FRA-SIN-MEL for me and my wife, and have waitlisted 1 J Saver reward ticket for the same route for my mum. Called up the Krisflyer call centre, got through to someone I could understand fine, and he linked my mum's waitlisted PNR to my confirmed PNR, and said he would drop an urgent message to the seat controller to clear the waitlist for my mum if possible.

Hopefully that comes through, and if it does, I'll try and link my mum's then confirmed PNR with a waitlisted PNR for me and my wife for Suites Saver, and ask for the same thing to be done to get that waitlist confirmed too if possible. Will be happy enough if all 3 of us get to fly back in J, but Suites for honeymoon would be the cherry on top.

Bit of chopping and changing and a lot of dependence on the stars aligning, but hopefully at the end of the day, I'll have two Suites Saver seats and 1 Business Saver seat for the long trip back.
