I didn’t try the link, but good to hear that it isn’t working.I like how the link to apply is dead. A good sign.
I shall look again in spring before the summer cruise .... fingers crossed! 3rd time is the charm.

I think you’re OK with British passport but not with AussieWhat is Chile doing? Isn’t the reciprocity fee enough? I have always entered Chile on my UK passport to avoid it.
The reciprocity fee has been removed and replaced with the visa requirement. I also entered on my British passport to avoid the fee. What is Chile doing? Isn’t the reciprocity fee enough? I have always entered Chile on my UK passport to avoid it.
Different browser did the trick. My lucky travel companion has a UK passport, lucky her!the link still works for me but you could just google it - Good luck
Interesting. And very disappointing for all.I've had another cruise cancellation come through. Silver Shadow in November Singapore to Singapore. Appears the whole asian season has been cancelled due to the Japanese border closure.
I had hoped that some cruises would be offered as both the Muse and the Shadow have an Australian season scheduled and have to reposition from Alaska anyway. However nothing is being offeredInteresting. And very disappointing for all.
Silversea cruises were quoted by many on the Viking boards as to why they were confident their Japan circuit cruise will proceed. It's on the route from Vancouver coming to Asia and so HK also at risk. If Japan gets cancelled, many will likewise cancel but the ship will still need to come to the Southern Hemisphere for its Aus and NZ cruises.

Interesting. I read CC this morning and didn’t see that post. There was no mention in the email from BM. I’ll give them a call.On CC a person with a cancelled Japan cruise said they have been told new itineraries will be posted by the end of the week.
As the cancellations have just been made, it will take a short while for the replacement itineraries to be published. The mass market lines had cancelled Japan much earlier, but they have such big numbers on board. SS clients have been expecting the cancellations but pleading for earlier confirmation. I can see a lot more Hawaii, South Pacific and ANZ cruises in the near future! Or even South America.Interesting. I read CC this morning and didn’t see that post. But surely even SS must have known there was possibly going to be a mass cancellation of Asian cruises with Japan,China,Taiwan and South Korean ports closed to cruising and would have started planning how to get the 3 ships from the US to the South Pascific for the itineraries later this year. So I am not surprised they would have the itineraries out quickly as they would like those on the cancelled cruises to rebook as soon as possible and not just take the money and run.As the cancellations have just been made, it will take a short while for the replacement itineraries to be published. I am even beginning to doubt my March land tour of Japan going ahead!
Yes, I agree SS knew they would be cancelling (not just a possibility!) and were probably drawing up replacement itineraries months ago. I am assuming they did not want to tell passengers about the Japan and Asia cancellations until all the new ports had been arranged. Waiting about a week after notifying guests seems appropriate before publishing new routes. However, I AM NOT GOING TO BOOK ANOTHER CRUISE for this year! But surely even SS must have known there was possibly going to be a mass cancellation of Asian cruises with Japan, China, Taiwan and South Korean ports closed to cruising and would have started planning how to get the 3 ships from the US to the South Pacific for the itineraries later this year. I asked my daughter who is living in Turkey. The response was: “Some countries. Turkey needs a prescription... Greece over the counter”I am taking the bull by the horns and have booked a cruise on the Mediterranean (my first) in one of those Norwegian mega-ships in Oct. It wasn't my choice, it was chosen by the rellies I'm travelling with, but I figure I may as well go along as not. Covid doesn't appear to be going away any time soon. Had booster no4 and I guess just hoping for the best. Would not be surprised if I catch SOMETHING, so will be taking the usual pharmac_ with me when I go. Can anyone tell me if real pseudoephedrine can be bought over the counter in Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, Greece)?
If you can I've found the easiest thing to do is email or chat with specific questions and get their response in writing (email) or screenshot if chat.Reading insurance PDSs is making my head spin. I can't figure out who covers cruising and Antarctica and who doesn't! Arrrghhh!
My fault for reading fine print on a saturday night I guess.
