Hi, Im looking at booking a family trip in EK economy (either flex or flex plus).

The current website is a bit confusing - when you look at the fare, for FLEX it says "Change fees = restricted".
But then when you click on the restricted icon, the detail text says: "No Charge. No show Penalty $500. Change Fees are additional to any difference in fare".

Is this a sneaky way of hiding the fee? Or a clumsy way of indicating that there is currently a grace period on change fees for flex bookings?

The FLEX PLUS fare clearly shows a big TICK for no changes.

Of course the online chat is unavailable.

Is anyone familiar with the current status of EK change fees for Economy, specifically Flex?
