Current Qantas First Lounge Menu (SYD/MEL) and relevant topics

Was about to ask the same. SYD has been horrible with service where at least once each of the last few visits I've had to get up and approach the wait person my self as no matter how I tried to get their attention it was impossible. Then the whole polite and courteous "yes sir of course I can take your order"...
Ok that's excellent but why exactly am I having to approach you to get this done?
I have a six hour transit there next month. Which based on your experience might be close to MCT.

Do we have an inkling on when the menu might change? Past history perhaps?

Be at SYD F on the 10th September, I like the current menu, but in a way, I hope I get to see the new.

Does anyone have a copy of the current F lounge menu? The Rockpool website is still listing Summer and I'd assume it's been replaced with winter by now. For once, I'm passing through in the evening next week and I'm looking forward to a nice romantic dinner before being stuck in NZ for a few days :-|
best you eat in the lunge. qantas usually take until almost breakfast time to serve you dinner

Still on the winter menu in the MEL FLounge today.

MEL-DPS J menu attached for @Pushka also
It seems somewhat improved. No pickle beef sandwich. Chicken sounds nice but seriously, Kale?
I thought there was risotto on the winter menu but can’t see it. Maybe now I’m hoping for a seasonal change.

Sydney or Melbourne?
SYD. The last time I was there, it was bad as well. No one came to take my order, and eventually I moved to another one of the seating areas. I've never had any issues in MEL. There, they've brought me a menu even if I'm in one of the meeting rooms.

Tried to get a date for the Spring menu introduction but the best I got was end of next week, 10th at the latest.

Of course I had the duck again but found it a tad uninspiring. However that may be due to familiarity than presentation or taste

Spring menu out today, sorry don’t have a photo of it. Mr FM had a five spice duck, which he said was lovely and more Thai in flavour. I had the Barramundi which was done with almonds and Polenta. The sauce and bits were beautiful, but the Barramundi was a bit drier than what we buy.

Mr FM then had a rice pudding done with pineapple which he said was excellent.

This was Roasted Pumpkin. It tasted very healthy. I want some chips. Score solid 6/10.

Lamb. A little heavy for lunch time for MrP but would have been perfect for dinner. Score 8/10.

Wonderful pavlova. Nicer than the earlier one which was passion fruit and quite tart. This one was wonderful. Score 11.
