Have been through SIN when flying QF F 4x in the last month. The "off menu" offerings must have been very discreet, never had anything special mentioned.

The special "re-constructed" Christmas pavlova was delicious. Very generous serving, crisp and chewy base, heaps of cream, passionfruit and strawberries. Paired perfectly with the Christmas coughtail. Yum!

Pouring the 2014 Lallier in the Melbourne lounge today, with the Penfold’s St Henri decanting away.

Lunch today at Melb F1 lounge. The Christmas Pav was good. Not as sweet as the usual. The prawns was ok. A bit tough. The beef brisket was yummy and melt in the mouth this time.

• 11:21 Informed that there were some issue with the kitchen so all orders will take more time
• 11:28 Advised to reorder from a new menu
• 11:33 Offered some olives which I declined
• 11:38 Given a new menu (see below)
• 11:39 Placed new order
• 11:43 Served first order from the new menu
• 11:44 Served second order from the new menu

I asked one of the wait staff and she said they haven't been briefed by the chef yet but believed this is for the rest of the day while the "issue" is being addressed

Sounds like somebody didn't place the full supplier order.
Of course, plenty of mixed leaves on hand...

Hope this pared back summer menu is just temporary. If you're still in the lounge AIRwin, and chance you asked the staff. I rather enjoyed the Vietnamese flavoured patties a few weeks back and was looking to try the dan dan noodles on the 15th.

I ordered both initially but both are no longer on the nouveau menu du jour
