Some of the premium seats are not badly priced ?
JFK ret in J for $6700 and LAX ret in F for $10k.

What do these retail for ?
Like roughly $9k and $13k respectively ?

Anyone tempted ?
I've seen LHR ret in F for $10k around this time last year but not this time it seems.

Very good deals. Not as good as I have seen them previously (in J to LAX anyways)

That F price to LAX is awesome.

It is, I've paid (well work did) paid that one way 10 years ago. If you have the need and means, go for it.

Cathay Pacific today notified a sale celebrating their 5th daily flight HKG-LHR. Offered J SYD-HKG-LHR for $6,993. Everyone one is getting in on the act!

It seems that the LAX-JFK legs of the MEL-JFK for $6699 deal are on the 747.
Does anybody know whether these use skybed mk1 or mkII ?

Thanks

Highly likely, but I wouldn't say for sure. Got an old bird last September...I think the only route where you have certainty of MKII is SYD-DFW.

What are the odds exactly ?
How many of the 19 (?) 747s have been refurbed with the MkII ?

Is there any way to check beforehand which config is on which day ?

No row 4 = Skybed Mk2 ...

Ok thanks. But how will I know the seat map of the aircraft flying that route on the day in question BEFORE i make a booking ?
I thought when you click on a flight in the booking process it just tells you which general aircraft it is e.g., 747-400 which is clickable then it takes you to another window and you see four different configs on it ?

Thanks

My understanding is all 747's were upgraded. I did BNE/LAX had MK11.

Even if you get the current seat map from EF, QF can always change config and usually you learn the good or bad news during OLCI..

Hahaha well that's true.
The only certainties in life are death and taxes eh

I suggest you to book your flight with a departure in NOU and you will discover the J is 6900AUD but you need to catch your flight in NOU
