We're trying to decide which to wine to bring along to dinner....

It's a challenge to pair wine with spicy food. Good thing there is still a month left to decide :p

Quaffing wine, only, with curries. Any good wine would be a waste.

I'll probably try and pick up some Yalumba- not FDR1A but something along those lines...the joys of knowing someone on the inside

The last price I knew was $30.50 for Menzies (Aug 14). Will talk to my contact if you and blackcat20 want some [to check current price] ;)

The Queen Adelaide has been around the $5 mark for probably 30+ years and may be drinkable with a strong curry. ;)

Edit: May also be appropriate for the dining location, being Adelaide

I'm not that keen on curry but the company will be fantastic so make me Platinum please Buzz.

Just to clarify - what is the date of the curry night Thinking I should come and meet a few people

The curry night is on Saturday 11 April and I need to know final numbers by COB Tuesday 7 April.

It would be really good VPS to meet another Adelaidian and show some of those interstaters, particularly those Melburnians what sort of a shindig we can put on.
